Naga Councilor Jess Albeus visits detained Anakbayan chair
Naga Councilor Jess Albeus has made sure that a detained activist is being cared for in jail.
In a Facebook post, Albeus said he visited Sasah Sta. Rosa, chair of Anakbayan in Naga, at the city police station.
Sta. Rosa, an alumna of the Ateneo de Naga University, has been detained on charges of illegal possession of firearms since May 2.
Albeus said he visited her to know her situation, and brought her food, water, alcohol, and face masks.
Joining him were fellow ADNU graduate Carlos Cortes Jr. and City Youth Councilor Marie Angella Averilla.
He thanked the station 2 commander for accommodating them as well.
May this visit be productive!
