Puerto Princesa Vice Mayor Nancy Socrates reminds residents of the importance of COVID testing

0

As COVID 19 spreads in Puerto Princesa, Vice Mayor Nancy Socrates was relieved to get a negative result from her latest saliva test.

But Socrates reminded her constituents of the importance of getting tested for COVID 19.

In a Facebook post, she said they should immediately be tested if they had been exposed to a positive patient or are showing symptoms of the disease.

This would be for their peace of mind and the safety of their family as well, she said.

She urged them not to be complacent as cases have been rising.

They should follow health protocols to prevent the spread of the disease, she added.

Constant vigilance is key!

“Got my Saliva RT-PCR test results just now…thanks be to God at negative muli!

#hopeforhealing #hopepagasapagsarig #stopthespread #BISErbisyo,” Socrates posted.
