Let’s not be like India, Marinduque Gov. Presby Velasco urges constituents
Marinduque Gov. Presby Velasco is highlighting thehigh number of deaths in India to convince his constituents to comply with health protocols.
In a Facebook post, Velasco said people are no stranger to the challenges that India is now facing because of the surge in cases due to the more infectious COVID 19 cases.
He said he does not want the same to happen in Marinduque.
To help them remember to observe minimum public health standards, he came up with the WOWS acronym.
W stands for wear your face mask and shield, O stands for observe physical distancing, the second W stands for wash your hands regularly, and S stands for symptoms reporting.
He also said they could pray for the province’s safety.
W- wear your face mask and shield;
O – observe physical distancing;
W – wash your hands regularly;
S – symptoms reporting.
PRESBY with YOU.
PRESBY with LAV.
#PRESBYwithLAV,” Velasco posted.
