Gov. Tallado leads distribution of honoraria to 788 volunteer teachers

Camarines Norte Governor Egay Tallado has spearheaded the distribution of cash honoraria to the province’s volunteer teachers.

A total of 788 volunteer teachers received their honoraria amounting to P12,000 covering the months of January to March as part of their Learning Support Aides.

“Bawat isa ay nagkakahalagang P12,000 (P4,000/month) ang natanggap ng mga ito na nanggaling sa mga pampublikong paaralan mula sa iba’t ibang bayan ng Camarines Norte,” said tehe provincial government.

367 volunteer teachers in the 1st District received their share. The breakdown is as follows:

1. Labo – 143
2. Jose Panganiban – 68
3 Paracale – 67
4 Capalonga – 42 at;
5. Sta. Elena – 47

Meanwhile, 421 volunteer teachers got theirs. The breakdown is as follows:

1. Basud – 74
2. Daet – 112
3. Mercedes – 53
4. Talisay – 39
5. Vinzons – 88
6. San Vicente – 55 at;
7. San Lorenzo – 55

Joining the governor during the event were Provincial Administrator Alvin Tallado and the members of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan sled by Acting Vice Governor Concon Panotes.

Alsi present were Board Members Renee Herrera, Atoy Moreno, Stanley Alegre, Aida Dasco, Bong Quibral and Artemio Serdon.

School Division Superintendent Nympha Guemo of the DepEd also graced the event.

“Isang pagsaludo sa walang ibang propesyon na karapat-dapat sa pinakamataas na anyo ng pasasalamat at pagpapahalaga kaysa sa pagtuturo. Lahat kayo ay sasang-ayon na higit sa isang propesyon, ang pagtuturo ay isang bokasyon, isang hilig, at isang tungkulin,” the Governor said.

“Kayo ay nananatiling tapat sa mahirap na misyon na pagbutihin ang buhay ng bawat batang Pilipino na ipinagkatiwala sa pangangalaga ng guro sa pamamagitan ng paghahatid ng kalidad, naa-access at nauugnay ng pangunahing edukasyon para sa lahat. Mabuhay ang mga Volunteer Teachers”, Tallado added.
