The Palawan Sangguniang Panlalawigan is pushing to grant P500 incentive to the barangay veterinary aides in the province this year.

The SP passed Resolution No.136-21 titled: “Requesting Governor Jose Ch. Alvarez to Grant the Barangay Veterinary Aides in the Province an incentive amounting P500.00 each per month retroactive January 2021 to December 2021, as included in 2021 Annual Budget of the Provincial Government”

The said resolution was authored by Board Members Ryan D. Maminta and Albert G. Rama.

He added that P2,276, 000.00 has been allocated for barangay veterinary aides under the 2021 budget of the province.

“Sa kasalukuyan po, mayroong budget na P2,276,000.00 for 2021 Local Expenditure Program under the Bgy.

The granting of the incentive is a way to recognize the by the Capitol of the sacrifices and contribution of barangay veterinary aides to make the province safe from African Swine Fever (ASF).
