Palawan SP asks DTI to issue order to establishments to implement health protocols strictly
The Palawan Sangguniang Panlalawigan has prodded the Trade department to issue an order to establishments to implement strictly the health protocols.
The SP passed Resolution No. 133-21 titled: Urging DTI-Palawan to issue an order to all business establishments within Palawan to strictly implement and follow minimum health standards in their daily operation to ensure safety of consumers and its employees.
The said resolution was authored by Board Member Cesareo Benedito, Jr.
“Ayon kay Board Member Benedito, sa pamamagitan nito ay mapapaalalahanan umano ang lahat ng mga business establishments sa lalawigan na mas lalo pang higpitan ang pagpapatupad ng health standards lalo pa’t patuloy pa rin umanong tumataas ang kaso ng COVID-19 sa Palawan at sa lungsod ng Puerto Princesa,” the provincial government said.
The board member noted that some of the COVID-19 transmission happened in establishments.
“The main purpose of the said measure Mr. Chairmain is to remind all business establishments that they have to strictly implement the minimum health standards at alam natin na tumataas po ‘yong COVID cases not only in the Province of Palawan but also in Puerto Princesa City,” BM Benedicto said.
“Napag-alaman din po natin, after we recieved an information that the… ‘yon pong mga nagpositive sa COVID-19 ay nagmula po sa mga nagtatrabaho sa mga business establishments,” he added.
