Romblon Vice Gov. Dong-Dong Ylagan cautions restos vs scammers using his name


Romblon Vice Gov. Dong-Dong Ylagan has warned restaurants and businesses in the province to double check any phone or online order that uses his name.

Ylagan issued the advise in a Facebook post where he disclosed that there are unscrupulous individuals who use his name to fool these businesses.

He said these persons make bulk orders and even ask for load at the end of the transaction.

He shared the list of restaurants that have been victimized or almost victimized.

The Vice Governor also made an appeal to the scammers to stop their scheme, which is a burden to people who are just trying to make an honest living.

It is not a good thing to do to others, especially amid the pandemic when many are struggling.

“Restaurant and other Business owners in Romblon please be adviced to take due diligence when transacting via phone or online, some unscrupulos individuals maybe using my name to disrupt or take advatage of your business. They are asking for bulk orders and also asking for load at the end of transaction. So far po i was able to received verification and information that the following reataurants have been victimized or was almost victimized
