Tabaco Mayor Krisel Lagman Luistro says the enemy is already within

0

Tabaco Mayor Krisel Lagman Luistro has raised the alarm over five new COVID 19 cases in the city.

In a Facebook post, Luistro said all of the new cases have no history of travel outside Albay, which means the virus is in the barangays and circulating in hour homes and the streets.

She said they have been focused on outsiders but have not realized that the enemy is already within their territory.

She called on Tabaquenos to strictly comply with health protocols, such as the wearing of face masks and face shields, physical distancing, and frequent washing of hands.

They should stay home unless their errand is essential, she added.

She also called on officials to make sure these measures are followed and to call the attention of violators.

These should be taken seriously or else we will lose the health war, she warned.

If we all do our part, we can defeat this virus!

“Dear fellow Tabaquenos:

We have 5 new covid cases and all of them have no travel outside albay. What does this mean? It means that the virus is in our barangays and circulating in our homes, work areas, streets, establishments, churches. We focus on outsiders coming in that we fail to realize the enemy is already inside our territories.

What do we do! BiDA ang solusyon. We go back to strictly implementing what we have known for a long time yet fail to take seriously. Wear Face Mask and Face Shield…. Practice Social Distancing…Sanitize hands…. Stay home if going out is not essential.

Please implement the ordinance mandating the adherence to the minimum protocols. Use citation tickets to enforce discipline. Sitahin ang mga violators. We are still under Community Quarantine. Please take this seriously because if we fail to be accountable, we will lose this health war!

Inaasahan ko ang inyong full particioation at cooperation sa panahon ng pandemiya.

Kayang kaya kung sama sama.

Mabalos po,

Mayor Krisel,” Luistro posted.
