Memories bring back memories! Oriental Mindoro Rep. Doy Leachon looks back on his teenage years
Before he became a public servant, Oriental Mindoro Rep. Doy Leachon had some practice in high school and college.
In a Facebook post, Leachon reminisced about his experiences during his teenage years as he shared throwback photos of his teenage years.
One photo was taken with his barkada when he was in high school, when he served as President of the student council.
It was his first experience with politics, he said.
The second photo he shared showed him working for the first time as a Jollibee crew member, which was also when he was taking his pre-law course at San Beda college.
He said the photos showed his happy but challenging teenage years, which also provided him with experiences that have molded him.
Teenage Doy has come so far!
“#OnMemoryLane. — Remembering 31 years ago my typical high school at DWCC when I used to hang out with our barkada. 1990. That year was also my 1st in politics as the President of the school’s Student Council.
Barely 3 years thereafter, I got married with my wife, City Councilor RL Leachon. 1993 & I was 19. The right picture reminds me also of my 1st to be working, here as a Jollibee Crew, and at the same time studying my pre-law at San Beda.
Both pictures of yesteryears depict the usual but my happy as well as challenging teenage years, experiences of which are substantially the embodiment of my whole being right now. – – Doy Leachon
