Naujan’s COVID-19 cases climb to 81, says Mayor Marcos

Naujan Mayor Mark Marcos announced that the coronavirus disease cases in the municipality have climbed to 81.

He said that 6 new cases were added to the list. Two came from Laguna and one each from Aurora, Pagkakaisa, Poblacion 2 at Poblacion 3

“[M]eron na tayo ngayong walumpu’t-isang (81) kumpirmadong kaso nito sa ating bayan simula nung March 2020 kung saan tatlumpu’t-tatlo (33) dito ang kasalukuyang aktibo,” said the local executive chief.

He also revealed that he is now under isolation after being exposed to a positive individual.

“Dahil isa sa mga nagpositibo sa virus ay ating nakahalubilo, ako at ang aking mga kasama sa Mayor’s Office ay nakaquarantine bilang pag-iingat na rin,” he said.

“Halos araw-araw po ay may nagpopositibo sa ating bayan kung kaya’t dapat pag-ibayuhin po natin ang pag-iingat.,” he added.

Marcos also asked his constituents to strengthen their immune system amid the threats of COVID-19.

“Ang pandemyang virus po ay nasa paligid lamang natin at maaari pong tayo ay makapitan sa sandaling tayo ay malingat. Dahil sobra ang init ng panahon kung kaya uso ang lagnat, ubo, sipon at trangkaso, palakasin po natin ang ating immune system bilang panlaban sa COVID-19,” he said.
