Gadiano attends League of Provinces of the Philippines’ general assembly

Occidental Mindoro Governor Eduardo Gadiano recently participated in the 6th General Assembly of the League of Provinces of the Philippines.

The annual event was held at the Edsa Shangri-La Hotel, Ortigas Center, Mandaluyong City.

The provincial leaders zeroed in on the policies regarding COVID-19 as well as the vaccination rollout.

“Ilan sa mga mahahalagang natalakay sa nasabing pagpupulong ay ang mga polisiya at alituntunin ng Inter-Agency Task Force sa patuloy na pakikipaglaban kontra COVID-19, presentasyon ng Covovax Vaccine at maigting na kampanya ng vaccination rollout, iba’t-ibang protocol sa pagbyahe at ang implementasyon ng S-PaSS Travel and Management Online System ng bawat probinsya sa bansa,” the Capitol said.

“Bukod dito, sinimulan din ang pagbabalangkas ng Atas ng Ehekutibo hinggil sa pasya ng Korte Suprema patungkol sa pagbibigay ng mas mataas na Internal Revenue Allotment (IRA) sa mga Local Government Unit (LGU),” it added.

Present during the event were Gov. Presbitero J. Velasco, Jr., LPP National President, Sec. Francisco T. Duque, DOH, Usec. Epimaco Densing, DILG, Sec. Fortunato T. Dela Peña, DOST, Dir. Rowen Gelonga, DOST, and Sec. Wendel E. Avisado.

DBM, Usec. Laura Pascua, DBM, Usec. Bernardo C. Florece, Jr., DILG, Jun Bautista, Faberco Life Sciences as well as other governors in the country also attended the event.
