During this pandemic, it’s important for people to know where you’ve been in case you’ve been exposed to a COVID 19 patient.

This is why Masbate City Mayor Rowena Tuason has reminded her constituents to get their MASTRACE QR code.

In a Facebook post, Tuason said those who are not that familiar with computers could get assistance at city hall to get the QR code.

They could also download it from computer shops, she said.

Officials held a dry run on the use of the code at the city hall compound, but it would be used in the city this month, she said.

She reminded Masbate residents that it was important to get the code to facilitate contact tracing in case there was a COVID 19 patient in the establishments they had visited.

You don’t want to be a silent spreader of the disease, do you?

“Please apply for your MASTRACE QR code now. You can visit our website

Kun dili po kamo maaram masyado sa computer, pwede kamo magkadto sa cityhall kay may ma assist saiyo didto. Pwede man po kamo magdownload sa mga computer shops.

Naga dry run na po yana sa sulod san Cityhall compound but this will be done in the whole city within this month.

Ini po ginahimo para mas madali an pag contact tracing san aton health personnel kun may mag covid 19 positive sa mga establishments na gina kadtuan po niyo.

Good morning?,” Tuason posted.
