Palawan gets assurance of COVID 19 vaccine supply, says Board Member Ryan Maminta
Palawan Board Member Ryan Maminta must be breathing a sigh of relief.
This is because the country’s vaccine czar, Carlito Galvez, has assured the province of a supply of COVID 19 vaccines once the bulk of the country’s orders have arrived.
In a Facebook post, Maminta said Galvez had a positive response to Palawan Gov. Jose Alvarez’ vaccination plan and request to prioritize the province in the roll out of the COVID 19 immunization program because it is a major tourist destination.
Galvez, in his letter, assured the provincial government that Palawan will get its due once the major volumes of the vaccine arrive.
Maminta thanked the government’s pandemic managers and Alvarez for this assurance.
He is sure Palawan won’t get left behind!
‘We would like to assure you that once the major volumes will arrive, we will give what is due to Palawan. Walang maiiwan, walang iwanan.’
Maraming-maraming salamat po sa IATF-NTF Against COVID-19 at sa ating mahusay at maaasahang Gobernador Jose Alvarez! Mabuhay po kayo!🙏✊👌👍,” Maminta posted.
