Vote yes! Division can be good for progress, says Brooke’s Point Mayor Maryjean Feliciano

POLITIKO - The bible of Philippine Politics.
Brooke’s Point Mayor Maryjean Feliciano can see the value of division.
Dividing the province of Palawan for governance purposes, that is.
As the plebiscite looms for the move to divide Palawan into three provinces, Feliciano took to Facebook to promote a yes vote.
In her post, Feliciano said Davao was divided in 1967 into Davao del Sur, Davao Oriental and Davao del Norte.
In 1998, Davao del Norte was split to create Davao de Oro and in 2013, Davao Occidental was created.
The mayor said these provinces have proved that dividing a large territory into more provinces would accelerate progress.
So people should vote yes during the March 13, 2021 plebiscite, she said.
For her, a yes vote is a vote for progress!
