Gov. Dolor attends Senate hearing on Motor Vehicle Inspection System implementation
Oriental Mindoro Governor Humerlito “Bonz” Dolor has been invited as a resource person in a Senate hearing on the Motor Vehicle Inspection System.
The Senate Committee on Public Services chaired by Senator Grace Poe spearheaded the public hearing today.
“The government should be sensitive enough at wag naman sana sa panahon na ito,” Dolor told the committee.
This is in relation to the appeal of the residents regarding the rules and guidelines in testing centers in the country.
“Inaasahan na pagkatapos nang pagdinig na ito ay magkakaroon ng konkretong hakbangin upang matugunan ang isyu sa PMVIC at transport registration lalo na ngayong hindi pa natatapos ang pandemya,” the Capitol said.
During the hearing, Sen. Poe asked the Department of Transportation (DOTr) to suspend the implementation of the Motor Vehicle Inspection System amid unresolved issues and complaints that have left motorists grossly disadvantaged at this time of pandemic.
