CamSur Gov. Villafuerte thanks USAID-IOM shelter assistance grant

Camarines Sur Governor Miguel Villafuerte has expressed his gratitude to the USAID-IOM for its shelter assistance donation.
Villafuerte graced today the USAID-IOM Shelter Assistance Distribution in the local government of Baao.
“Our heartfelt appreciation for the USAID-IOM team for granting our request of shelter and housing assistance for our constituents who have been affected by the successive typhoons last year,” the governor said.
According to Villafuerte, each of the beneficiaries received construction materials and P4,500 financial aid.
“More beneficiaries from other municipalities shall be identified and awarded the same assistance in the coming days,” he said.
In another development, Villafuerte just recently led the TUPAD payout distribution in Bato.
“Mahigit 1,000 beneficiaries na ating na-identify mula sa Bayan ng Bato ang nakatanggap ng tag-P5,000 bahagi ng TUPAD Program ng DOLE,” he said.
“Sa pagtutulungan ng DOLE, LGU Bato, at ng Kapitolyo, mas marami tayong naaabot at natutulungan,” he added.
