Dead pigs are ASF-free, says Naujan Mayor Mark Marcos

Naujan Mayor Mark Marcos was troubled when dead pigs started washing up on the shores of his town, but he can at least breathe a sigh of relief that they do not have African Swine Fever.

In a Facebook post, Marcos shared that samples of the pigs tested by the National African Swine Fever Task Force were found negative for the disease.

This was also confirmed by the National Animal Disease Reference Laboratory in Quezon City, he said.

This was a big relief for the mayor, who thanked the lord for the development.

Now if only he could find where these pigs came from!

MARK NAVARRO MARCOS,” Marcos posted.
