Gov Villafuerte distributes TUPAD payout in Del Gallego

Camarines Sur Governor Miguel Villafuerte has led the TUPAD pay out distribution to the beneficiaries in Del Gallego town.
“Halos 400 na panibagong batch ng beneficiaries mula sa Del Gallego ang ating na-identify at nakatanggap ng tig-5000 pesos mula sa TUPAD Program ng DOLE.” Villafuerte said.
TUPAD stands for Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged/Displaced Workers.
The program is a community-based package of assistance of the Labor department that provides emergency employment for displaced workers, underemployed and seasonal workers, for a minimum period of 10 days, but not to exceed a maximum of 30 days.
“Ang pagtutulungan ng national government at LGUs ngayong panahon ng pandemya ay napakahalaga kaya naman nagpapasalamat po tayo sa ating magandang relasyon sa mga line agencies na katuwang natin mula sa pagbibigay ng ayuda, contact tracing, testing, security at iba,” said Villafuerte.
“Gaya po ng lagi nating sinasabi umpisa pa lang ng pandemya—tulungan po tayo,” he added.
The Governor also recently held the same activity in Lupi town.
“Karagdagang 250 beneficiaries ang ating natukoy at nakatanggap ng 5000 pesos tulong para sa mga nawalan ng hanapbuhay dulot pa rin ng umiiral na pandemya,” he said.
