Or. Mindoro Gov. Bonz Dolor asks LTO to stop regulation saying private vehicles can only register in Calapan

Oriental Mindoro Gov. Bonz Dolor is worried about the deluge of private vehicle owners who came to Calapan to register their vehicles in the Land Transportation Office there.

The huge number of people has led to the violation of the physical distancing rule, Dolor said in a Facebook post.

This is why he has written to the LTO to ask it to stop the implementation of its regulation saying that private vehicles can only be registered in Calapan.

There are LTO offices in Pinamalayan and Roxas, he pointed out.

He said the LTO regulation makes it hard for people to register their vehicles amid the pandemic, and hopes it will listen to his plea.

Nobody wants a superspreader event!
