Irosin vice mayor, three health workers test positive for COVID-19

Governor Francis “Chiz” Escudero has identified the four new individuals in Sorsogon who tested positive for the coronavirus disease.

The Provincial Health Office reported that three healthcare workers and an elected official were added to the list of COVID-19 patients in the province.

“Kinilala ni Governor Chiz Escudero ang mga nagpositibo na sina John Louis Fajardo Tan, 23 taong gulang ng San Vicente sa bayan ng Bulan; Christian Dig Lim, 57 taong gulang ng San Pedro sa bayan ng Irosin; Winston Smith Cantilado Fernandez, 32 taong gulang ng Balete Bacon at Germie Desengano Diesta, 38 taong gulang ng Bibincahan parehong mula sa lungsod ng Sorsogon,” said the Capitol.

Lim was tagged as Bicol Patient No. 4137. He is the vice mayor of Irosin.

Tan is registered as Bicol Patient No. 4136. He is apharmacist. Fernandez and Diesta are registered as Bicol Patient Nos. 4138 and 4139. They are both Patient Care Tecnician in a private hospital.

“Nakapagtala naman ng 38 na negative swab results ang lalawigan ngayong araw,” said the Capitol.

“Kasalukuyang may kabuuang 496 na kaso ng COVID-19 ang lalawigan ng Sorsogon, kung saan 21 nito ay aktibo, 451 ang naka-recover at 24 ang pumanaw sa sakit na dulot ng COVID-19 virus,” it added.
