Palawan board member tells LGUs to study the efficacy of COVID-19 vaccines to be purchased
A Palawan board member has reminded the local government units to study carefully the coronavirus vaccines that they intend to purchase for their constituents.
Second District Board Member Sharon Abiog-Onda delivered a privilege speech urging local government officials to conduct research on the efficacy of vaccines that they will procure.
“Just a reminder to the Local Government Units to carefully conduct research, carefully study about the efficacy of vaccines to be purchased, since this will cause the life of a constituent, of the people of the province of Palawan” said Board Member Onda.
In connection with this, the Sangguniang Panlalawigan approved Resolution No. 017-21 entitled: “Urging all LGUs thru their Municipal Health Offices to conduct information dissemination campaign regarding COVID-19 vaccines in their respective areas of jurisdiction.”
The said resolution was authored by Liga ng mga Barangay President and Ex-Officio Member Ferdinand Zaballa.
