CamNorte Rep. Tallado said 332 TUPAD beneficiaries got their salary
Camarines Norte Josie Baning Tallado said that more than 300 beneficiaries in Paracale have received their payout from the Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged/Displaced Workers (TUPAD) of the Labor department.
The solon said that P1.66 million have been distributed to 332 beneficiaries.
TUPAD is a community-based package of assistance of the Labor department that provides emergency employment for displaced workers, underemployed and seasonal workers, for a minimum period of 10 days, but not to exceed a maximum of 30 days.
“Pinangunahan ni Cong. Tallado katuwang ang DOLE-CamNorte at Public Employment Service Office (PESO) nitong umaga na araw ng Biyernes, ika-15 ng Enero, 2021, na tanging layunin ay makapagbukas ng panibagong pag-asa para sa ating mga kababayang nawalan ng trabaho at kabuhayan dulot ng pandemya kasabay ng sama-samang pagharap sa panibagong normal,” the solon’s office said.
The distribution was held at the Paracale National High School. It was attended by Councilor Amie Oco, Councilor CM Manarang, Councilor Bao Alcala and Councilor Julius Adecer of the Paracale Local Government.
“Matatandaan na ang mga bahaging programang ito ng DOLE ay nakapailalim sa Republic Act No.11494 o Bayanihan to Recover As One Act na saklaw ang mga programa na gaya ng DOLE Integrated Livelihood Program or Kabuhayan Program (DILP), CAMP at TUPAD Program na mga tugon para sa mga kababayan nating labis na naapektuhan dahil sa pandemya na dulot ng COVID-19,” the solon’s office said.
