CamSur Gov. Villafuerte leads TUPAD payout distribution in Iriga

Camarines Sur Governor Miguel Villafuerte has spearheaded the payout of TUPAD beneficiaries in Iriga City.
“Bagong taon, bagong batch ng beneficiaries na makakatanggap ng ayuda mula sa DOLE sa pamamagitan ng TUPAD Program,” said Villafuerte.
TUPAD stands for Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged/Displaced Workers (TUPAD).
“Sinikap po namin nina Cong Lray, PA Luigi, at ng mga masisipag na empleyado ng Kapitolyo na makakuha ng karagdagang pondo upang mapamahagi sa mga natukoy na beneficiaries sa buong probinsya,” said the governor.
“Lahat na 36 municipalities kasama ang Iriga City, naglaan po tayo ng pondong nakuha natin mula sa DOLE. Walang iwanan as we heal as one,” he added.
TUPAD is a community-based package of assistance of the Labor department that provides emergency employment for displaced workers, underemployed and seasonal workers, for a minimum period of 10 days, but not to exceed a maximum of 30 days.
