Palawan SP asks DepEd to appoint new schools division superintendent

The Palawang Sangguniang Panlalawigan has asked the Department of Education to appoint a full time schools division superintendent in the province.

This came after the DepEd earlier slapped Schools Division Superintendent Natividad Bayubay with 90-day preventive suspension while the investigation on the complaint against her is underway.

The SP passed Resolution No.435-20 titled: “Requesting DepEd Secretary Leonor Briones thru DepEd-MIMAROPA Regional Director Nicolas Capulong to appoint, designate and assign a new competent and full-time Schools Division Superintendent in Palawan.”

All members of the council co-authored the said resolution.
