Palawan SP wants to exempt cyclists from wearing face shields

The Palawan Sangguniang Panlalawigan has moved to exempt cyclists from wearing face shields.

The SP approved the resolution authored by First District Board Member David Francis P. Ponce de Leon, entitled: Resolution No. 460-20 “Exempting cyclist from wearing face shields while cycling within the Province.”

All members of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan co-authored the said resolution.

“Kasi pag nagbike ka when in exhale, ‘yong warm air ay nagpa-fog doon sa face shield, so, it impairs the vision of the cyclist” said Ponce de Leon.

The National Inter-Agency Task Force earlier ordered the mandatory wearing of face shields in public.
