Bicol’s coronavirus cases climb to 3,506
The total coronavirus disease cases in Bicol Region rose to 3,506 as of December 21.
The Department of Health Center for Health Development-Bicol reported four new COVID-19 cases yesterday.
Two cases were recorded in Naga City while another two were reported in Pasacao.Total active cases are now 440.
“Details of newly reported cases are forwarded to concerned Provincial/City/Hospital Epidemiology and Surveillance Units (ESUs) and LGUs,” the DOH said.
“Releasing of personal information of patients is governed by the provisions of the Data Privacy Act,” it added.
Meanwhile, total recoveries stood at 2,918 as of December 21.
Death toll on the other hand is now at 148 after one fatality was reported in Camarines Sur.
“The fight against COVID-19 rests primarily in each individual action. Everyone should take the necessary precautions to protect themselves and others from contracting the virus,” the Health department noted.
“Let us follow the BIDA Solusyon sa COVID-19 para sa Serbisyong Salud Bikolnon,” it added.
