Organically productive! Albay Rep. Fernando Cabredo provides TESDA training to women farmers

0

Albay Rep. Fernando Cabredo is proud of the women farmers in his district, but he knows they can do more.

To help them maximize their potential and provide them with new skills that would make them more productive, Cabredo said he offered them community training courses from the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority.

In a Facebook post, Cabredo said the training was on organic agriculture production.

It would help the farmers produce organic fertilizer and organic concoctions and extracts, and grow organic vegetables.

Organic products are all the rage now especially among health buffs, so it looks like they’re on the right track!

“BOOSTING AGRICULTURE PRODUCTIVITY THRU TESDA COMMUNITY BASED TRAINING

In line with our desire to provide capability building and further improve productivity by our women planters in Barangays Ongo, Palanas, Pood and Balite, all in Guinobatan, Albay, we provided our women planters with TESDA Community based training by attending the Organic Agriculture Production Course leading to NC II conducted by JOROSS FARM SCHOOL of Ligao City.

The training aims to allow them to:
Produce organic fertilizer
Produce organic concoctions and extract
Produce organic vegetable

Thank you TESDA Regional Director ELMER TALAVERA and PD Ruth Dayawen for fulfilling your promise to deliver TESDA trainings to these women planters in the countryside.

Indeed, TESDA ABOT ANG LAHAT. MABUHAY PO KAMO!” Cabredo posted.
