They’re doing their best to ensure there will be no dark Christmas, says Catanduanes Gov. Boboy Cua
Authorities are doing their best to ensure that Catanduanes would not be in the dark on Christmas, according to Gov. Boboy Cua.
In a Facebook post, Cua said the members of the restoration task force from different cooperatives in the country, led by First Catanduanes Electric Cooperative, are doing their best to restore all power connections before December 25.
The power lines were destroyed during the onslaught of supertyphoon Rolly.
Cua lauded the linemen, foremen, and truck operators who are working double time so that Catanduanes residents will enjoy lights on Christmas.
He is very grateful for their dedication, he added.
They will bring the light!
#TabangCatanduanes,” Cua posted.
