VP Robredo hits back at those trolling her Albay housing project

Vice President Leni Robredo hit back against “trolls” circulating malicious posts about her housing project in Guinobatan, Albay.

Robredo said that photos showing a sample of her housing project were just a “mockup” for visuals and not a single house has been built yet.

“The house shown in the picture is just a mockup so that our partner beneficiaries will have visuals of the actual size of the house. Pls see first picture dubbed as REALITY,” Robredo said.

The Vice President also said that a “reputable” architectural firm designed the houses, which is also the design in her first Angat Buhay Village in Marawi.

“The construction is being supervised by a local chapter of the United Architects of the Philippines – UAP Daraga-Cagsawa Chapter,” she said.

The Bicol University College of Engineering also served as their partner. “Their Dean and their engineer-teachers attended the launch. They are also the ones who will be training our volunteers,” she said.

“As part of their sweat equity, the partner beneficiaries will undergo trainings from our partners to build the units. They will be supervised by our partner architects and skilled workers,” she added.

Robredo also left some words to her trolls: “Instead of trolling, baka gusto nilang tumulong nalang silang mag build. Sweat equity lang, yung gastos ng materyales sa amin.”
