COVID-19 cases in Bicol now at 3,394


The coronavirus disease cases in Bicol Region have climbed to 3,394 as of December 14, the Department of Health Center for Health Development-Bicol reported.

Four new cases, all from Camarines Sur, were recorded yesterday. Active cases in the region remain 369.

“Details of newly reported cases are forwarded to concerned Provincial/City/Hospital Epidemiology and Surveillance Units (ESUs) and LGUs,” said the DOH.

Meanwhile, total recoveries stood at 2,851 after 53 patients were reported recovered yesterday.

Death toll due to the coronavirus disease is still 147.

“The fight against COVID-19 rests primarily in each individual action. Everyone should take the necessary precautions to protect themselves and others from contracting the virus,” said the DOH-Bicol.

“Let us follow the BIDA Solusyon sa COVID-19 para sa Serbisyong Salud Bikolnon,” it added.
