Vice President Leni Robredo and her partners broke ground their housing project in Guinobatan, Albay.

“Groundbreaking of our first BAHAYanihan site in Guinobatan, Albay—and the rest of the day spent starting the work on the first units,” Robredo said.

“Pagod ang team pero masaya. We hope the families who will rebuild their lives there will be happy, now that they’ll be on a safer area,” added the vice president.

The said housing project is intended for families who have been deeply affected by recent typhoons, including Supertyphoon Rolly

Meanwhile, Robredo also thanked all her partners, namely: Kaya Natin! Movement for Good Governance and Ethical Leadership, C.C. Buencamino Architect, Bicol University, United Architects of the Philippines (UAP) – Elliptical Chapter, UAP – Daraga-Cagsawa Chapter, and JCI Legazpi for supporting the initiative.
