Iriga Mayor Madel Alfelor lauds netizen for calling out a politiko
Nobody likes a trapo, and Iriga Mayor Madel Alfelor is glad that netizens are calling them out.
On Facebook, Alfelor shared the Facebook post of a netizen who criticized Camarines Sur Rep. LRay Villafuerte for giving out face shields in boxes that bore the face of his son Luigi.
The netizen, Arden Lagrimas, said this was clearly a campaign move, and was not the first time the Villafuertes plastered their faces on items they were giving away.
Lagrimas castigated Villafuerte for using the pandemic to advance his family’s political agenda and for being an opportunist.
He also chided Villafuerte for publicly targeting and shaming his critics when they have every right to dissent. He went on to challenge Villafuerte and his sons to step away from public office.
In her post, Alfelor said we need more people like them.
She now sees hope on the horizon, as people are speaking out against “trapos.”
She hopes Camarines Sur would wake up, she added.
Looks like the gloves are off for 2022!
“WE NEED MORE PEOPLE LIKE THEM:
NOW I CAN SAY THERE IS STILL HOPE…and PEOPLE ABHORS TRAPO….
CAM SUR GISING???,” Alfelor posted.
