Albay VG Lagman fetes seminar for youth leaders

Albay Vice Governor Edcel Grex Lagman lauded the seminar entitled, “Building Community Awareness and Resilience through Adaptive and Innovative Leadership” initiated by his office.

Lagman could not help it but feel proud to the Albay’s youth leaders and how they are very open to learning leadership skills.

“This morning was the first installment of the Office of the Vice Governor (OVG) and Sangguniang Kabataan Federation of Albay’s joint project for SK officials,” said Lagman.

“I am glad to partner with SK Fed President of Albay and Ex-Officio Board Member E-boy Jesus Go in this worthwhile endeavor,” he added.

SK Fed Presidents of the Municipalities of Bacacay, Sto. Domingo, Malilipot, Malinao, Tiwi, Rapu-Rapu, Libon, Polangui and the cities of Tabaco and Legazpi were present together with their ranking officials.

2019 Bar Examinations 1st Placer Atty. Mae Diane Azores of Legazpi City served as one of the event’s speakers.

“She spoke on adaptive and innovative leadership drawing on her vast experience as state auditor and on her being a newly-minted law professor,” said Lagman.

The second speaker was Mr. Kenneth Isaiah Ibasco Abante, a research faculty of Ateneo de Manila University who is “very knowledgeable on leadership issues that confront today’s youth leaders.”
