Masbate Rep. Kho’s office says scholarship for TESDA programs now up for grabs
Masbate Rep. Wilton Kho’s office announced that the application for scholarship for Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) programs is now open.
“Bayanihan 2, a law that urgently responded to the impacts of COVID-19 pandemic in the country, is intended to provide scholarships through TESDA programs with target beneficiaries such as Locally Displaced Workers and Oversees Filipino Workers (OFW’s),” the lawmaker’s office said.
Through the Office of Congressman Kho, the TESDA opened the application for scholarship for beneficiaries in the third district of the province.
“Please share this with your friends or someone who’s looking for a new skill to land a new job during this pandemic,” Kho’s office said.
“You may only need a certification from Public Employment Service Office (PESO) stating that you are one of the displaced workers or OFW’s, then you are qualified to apply,” said the lawmaker’s office.
Those interested may submit the requirement to Kho’s satellite office, in front of Emilio S. Boro Central School, Bajada, Cataingan, Masbate or submit it through our page.
Kho’s office is open from Monday to Friday at 9am to 4pm. The deadline of submission is December 17, 2020.
“Kindly make sure you are dedicated before joining the program. Wag po natin hayaan masayang lang ang slots,” Kho’s office reminded.
