Brooke’s Point Councilor Ton Abengoza leads clean up of accident prone road
Brooke’s Point Councilor Ton Abengoza is doing his part to keep roads safe for motorists.
In a Facebook post, Abengoza identified a stretch of road in Sofronio Española as an accident prone area because of the scattered gravel there.
An accident recently occurred in the area, in fact.
To prevent it from happening again, Abengoza said he called on the members of the Española Grand Eagle Club to conduct a clean up drive on the road as part of its community service.
Because of their group effort, the area is now clear of gravel and motorists can pass through it safety now.
Happy driving, thanks to these eagles!
“Accident prone area due to scattered gravels in this area in Sofronio Española, just recently, a motorist had an accident here.
So concerned that it may happened again in the future, as an “Eagle Aspirant” myself, i suggested to my ‘Kuyas’ & ‘Ates’ of Sofronio Española Grand Eagle Club thru’ the leadership of our Eagle President, Kuya Ali Porlucas that it is timely to conduct Clean-up Drive as part of our Community Service here in Caramay area (National highway), Bgy. Pulot Center.
As a result of group effort, the area now was cleared of gravels and now safe for motorists.
MABUHAY ANG AGILA!” Abengoza posted.
