0

Odiongan Mayor Trina Fabic hasn’t just enjoyed the sights underwater, she has also learned how to save lives.

In a Facebook post, Fabic thanked the Pili Divers and her dive instructor for teaching her well during her rescue dive course.

She said she learned a lot, including how to rescue people who are drowning or who encountered problems while on a dive.

10 divers will also take the course in January to form the rescue dive team of the Odiongan Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office, she said.

The Pili Divers also offer other courses, including fun divers and open water diving.

They rent out snorkels, goggles/masks, fins, vests, and other equipment for those who want to see the beauty that lies under the sea, she said.

Dive safely!
