Cam Sur Gov. Migz Villafuerte deploys backpacking health workers
For Camarines Sur Gov. Migz Villafuerte, healthcare is a right, not a privilege.
Which is why he is not letting his homebound constituents become deprived of medical attention.
In a Facebook post, Villafuerte said he has deployed Backpackers Team to help those who cannot go to the hospital or attend medical missions.
The backpackers would bring medicines and be able to provide services such as ultrasound, ECG, blood sugar testing, and uric acid testing, among others.
The priority of this mobile team of health workers are the remote areas of the province and its indigent residents, he said.
Through their efforts, he would be able to reach all 1,036 barangays in Camsur starts with a backpack and a smile, he said.
Ain’t no mountain high enough to keep him from providing health care!
“Healthcare On The Go!
Healthcare is a universal right and not just a privilege for a few. Our effort to reach all 1,036 barangays in Camsur starts with a backpack and a smile!
