It’s not for clout! San Fernando Mayor Fermin Mabulo says photos of relief ops necessary for accountability
San Fernando Mayor Fermin Mabulo isn’t after publicity when he takes photos of his efforts to provide assistance to calamity victims.
In a Facebook post, Mabulo explained why this act of documentation was necessary.
It is not for clout or political mileage, but for transparency and accountability, he said.
There is a need to let donors know that the money they donated have been used for its intended purpose and have gone to the people who need it, he said.
Because people know that the funds are used properly, more are encouraged to donate to help the needy, he added.
He’s not doing this for the ‘gram!
