Rep. Villafuerte says CamSur medical workers to be deployed house to house
Camarines Sur Rep. Luis Raymund “LRay” Villafuerte announced the a new health program of the Provincial Government.
In this new program, medical workers will go door to door and house to house of the residents to serve them.
“Mga ka fuerte health workers na Po ang pupunta bahay bahay sa ibat ibang barangay lalo na sa mga malalayong lugar para mag check up sa mga pamilya . Hinde kailangan gumastos pa ng pamasahe at mag byahe,” the lawmaker said.
Villafuerte said that the health workers will bring with them medical equipment and medicines.
“Meron dala na medical equipment naka backpack Ang aming mga ka fuerte health workers na Pwede mag bigay libreng medical services kagaya ng Ultrasound , ECG , check up ng blood sugar level , Blood pressure at iba pa . Meron ding dala ng mga medisina at Meron naka ready na ambulansya Kung kailangan dalhin sa ospital,” he said.
“This is a first in the country . Our goal in #camsur is preventive healthcare by having our team of health workers going around barangays rather than wait for our people to go to our clinics and hospitals. We will go to their homes directly,” he added.
Villafuerte said that the provincial government started by having a medical van or our hospital on wheels with medical services such as an x-Ray, ultrasound
“Now we are focusing on improving healthcare by going down on the farthest areas and having a grassroots healthcare services program,” he said.
“We will be having starting next month 20 teams going around each day to serve the 1036 barangay of camsur,” he added.
