Albay VG Lagman initiates community awareness forum


Vice Governor Edcel Grex Lagman has spearheaded yesterday the “Building Community Awarenesss and Resilience Forum” featuring the officials of Tabaco.

The Office of the Vice Governor (OVG) organized the said forum. The invitees were barangay officials and youth leaders from twenty barangays of Tabaco City.

“As Albayanos, we must be adept at adapting to persistent challenges posed by natural calamities. The forum boosted community resilience by addressing complex issues through adaptive and innovative solutions,” said the Vice Governor.

Lagman said they also invited resource speakers and facilitators from the network of the Young Southeast Asian Leaders Initiative (YSEALI).

“Thanks to DRRM Specialist Ian James Secillano, Mental Health Advocate; Nicole Anne Bejo and Kimberly Bongon Ante,
Gender and Development Consultants as well as to forum facilitators Engr. Shandra Bolilan, Meteorologist John Ruel Locaba and Engr. Mary Joy Mandane,” said Lagman.

“Finally, super thanks to all my OVG babies doves Ana, Kons Sheina, Candice, Connie, Janet, Irene, Josie, Jay, Nehc, Danreb, Andrew, Jay, Leo, Jeffrey Mirando Mamuyac and Jeaneve for organizing and making this forum happen,” he added.
