Sorsogon Governor Francis “Chiz” Escudero has led the opening of the new and improved Bulan Medicare Hospital.

The said hospital is the third health care facility that has been improved in the province in the face of the coronavirus pandemic.

Present during the event were members of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan led by Vice Governor Manuel Fortes, Mayor Romeo Gordola of Bulan, other local officials of Bulan, Dr. Renato Bolo Jr from the Provincial Health Office, Dr. Charlie B. Bandola, head of the said hospital as well as other health officials of Sorsogon.

This includes Barcelona, Pilar, Bulusan, Sta. Magdalena and Bulusan.

“Sa ngayon, accreditation nalang ang hinihintay para sa RHU Casiguran,” said the province.

Escudero also said that the government will provide medical equipment such as X-ray, Ultrasound and 2D Echo to RHUs in the province so that patients need not to go to the Sorsogon Provincial Hospital.
