Who will wash the dishes? Sablayan Vice Mayor Bong Marquez launches dishwashing liquid livelihood program
Sablayan residents could make sure they have clean plates by using the dishwashing liquid that the town’s residents would produce.
Sablayan Vice Mayor Bong Marquez and the Presidential Commission for the Urban Poor led the launch of a livelihood program for the poor.
The program would teach the residents how to make dishwashing liquid, which they could sell, according to a post on Marquez’ Facebook page.
The PCUP funded the materials for the program while the local council and the provincial government of Occidental Mindoro would provide the start up capital.
The training was conducted via videoconferencing.
Once the residents start selling the dishwashing liquid, the next question to be resolved is who will wash the dishes!
