VG Lagman receives more donation for typhoon-hit Albayanos

Albay Vice Governor Edcel Grex Lagman has expressed gratitude to all the individuals who took the initiative to donate to his office for the benefit of typhoon-stricken Albayanos.

“Thank you, Mr. Shann Chan, for the ten (10) boxes of solar lamps that you donated to my office. Upon checking, each box contains twenty-four (24) solar lamps,” said Lagman.

“Thanks very much also to tita Edna and to her grandson Vito for donating three hundred (300) face shields which I will distribute to my constituents housed in evacuation centers in Albay,” he added.

Lagman said that the face shields will strengthen compliance with health protocols to combat the spread of COVID-19 in evacuation centers

“Every ray of light, from any and all sources, is most welcome in the backdrop of one of the bleakest Novembers Albayanos have experienced. And we need all the protection we can get so we better make sure we’re all compliant with health protocols,” he said.

“Ang bawat liwanag mula sa inyong mga bigay na solar lamps ay isang patunay na sa likod ng pagsubok na ‘to, maraming mga tao ang nagmimistulang mga bayani na patuloy sa paglingkod sa kanilang kapwa. Ang bawat face shield naman ay tanda ng ating pagpapahalaga sa kalusugan natin at ng ating kapwa,” he added.
