Palawan SP to inquire on preparations for reopening of tourism sector

The Palawan Sangguniang Panlalawigan wants to ensure the preparations of the province amid the reopening of the tourism sector in the province.

“Nais malaman ng Sangguniang Panlalawigan ang ginagawang paghahanda ng mga tanggapan ng pamahalaan hinggil sa muling pagbubukas ng turismo sa lalawigan,” said the province.

First District Board Member Cherry Pie Acosta moved to invite the Municipal Tourism Officer of El Nido and Municipal Inter-Agency Task Force.

“Itong mga darating na buwan, pabukas na po ang turismo dito sa lalawigan ng Palawan especially doon po sa bayan ng El Nido at nais po ng inyong abang likod at ng ating mga kasamahan na-iinvite po ang ating tourism officer upang i-update po tayo ng mga pangyayari po doon and the same time Mr. Chairman, I would like to invite also the Inter-Agency Task Force during the committee meeting on tourism” said Acosta.

The move was seconded by Second District Board Member Cesareo Benedito, Jr.

Benedito also moved to invite the Provincial Tourism Officer in connection with its ‘recovery plan’ for the tourism sector.

“Samantala, agad namang inaprubahan ng konseho ang kahilingan ng dalawang bokal,” said the province.
