VP Robredo now in Bicol to provide help
Vice President Leni Robredo has trooped to Bicol a day after super typhoon Rolly ravaged the region.
Robredo said in a Facebook post that she left Manila early today to visit areas heavily hit by Rolly, which made a landfall in the region as a “super-typhoon.”
“Left Manila before dawn today. Just arrived CamSur and these were the first signs of devastation we saw,” Robredo said.
Robredo also said that she will visit Albay and Catanduanes.
Meanwhile, the Vice President has also met with Naga City Mayor Nelson Legacion and CamSur Rep. Gabriel Bordado.
Even before super typhoon ‘Rolly’ made landfall in Bicol Region, the Office of the Vice President and its Angat Buhay partners already provided food packs to residents living in coastal areas in Calabanga and Magarao in Camarines Sur.
