Albay Gov. Bichara leads Regional Peace and Order Council meeting
Albay Governor Al Francis Bichara has spearheaded the meeting Regional Peace and Order Council today at the Albay Astrodome.
The council’s meeting zero in on the threat situation updates and the resumption of public transportation in the region.
The regional council also expressed its full support to the Barangay Development Program espoused by the National Task Force to end local-communist armed conflict.
“The Council has presented a proposed inter-regional public routes touching areas from the National Capital Region,” the Albay Capitol said.
In Albay, it was recommended that coming from Parañaque Integrated Terminal Exchange (PITX), Legazpi City Grand Terminal and Tabaco City Integrated Terminal (via Sabloyon Road) would be the points of drop-off and pick-up.
“The council is yet to seek consultations from the local chief executives for the completion of the proposal” the Albay PIO said.
