Palawan Governor Jose Ch. Alvarez has ordered the mandatory wearing of face mask and face shield within the premises of the provincial capitol starting Monday.

“In light of the growing cases of COVID-19 community transmission in the City of Puerto Princesa and the Province of Palawan, all employees of the Provincial Government and incoming visitors who have business transactions shall be mandated to wear their face shield and face mask within the premises of the Capirol Complex,” the order read.

Meanwhile, minimum health protocols will also be strictly enforced.
