Palawan Board Member Albert G. Rama is pushing for clear cut guidelines and regulation on the lobster fry industry in the province.

“Isinisulong ni 3rd District Board Member Albert G. Rama na magkaroon ng maayos at malinaw na regulasyon hinggil sa ‘lobster fry industry’ dito sa lalawigan,” the provincial government said.

Yesterday, BM Rama asked the Sangguniang Panlalawigan to hold a hearing to be led by the Committee on Agriculture and Fisheries.

Among the stakeholders to be invited are representatives from the Palawan Council for Sustainable Development (PCSD), Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) and Provincial Agriculture Office.

Rama said that the hearing aims to craft a regulation regarding the obster fry in Palawan.

The SP unanimously approved Board Member Rama’s proposal.
