Albay Governor Al Francis Bichara has ordered the resumption of tree trimming activity in order to reduce the danger amid the typhoon season.

The Apsemo Pdrrmo and other concerned agencies spearheaded the tree trimming project along major roads.

“This is an ongoing project to mitigate risks from falling trees during a devastating typhoon,” Apsemo Pdrrmo chief Dr. Cedric Daep was quoted as saying

The team followed health protocols to reduce the risk of coronavirus disease.

Dr. Daep also reminded the team of all the safety precautions in the performance of the tasks including observance of minimum health standards for COVID 19.

“The project which started along Washington Drive and Cruzada in Legazpi City will continue week by week until roads are cleared of unwanted tree branches,” said the Capitol.
