Albay VG Lagman registers new socio-civic foundation with SEC
Albay Vice Governor Edcel Grex Lagman has recently registered a socio-civic foundation with the Securities and Exchange Commission in Bicol Region.
With the foundation, the Vice Governor said he will be able to provide more help to the people of Albay.
“Visit to SEC Region V’s chief Atty. Norma Tan-Olaya. She helped me out with the requirements pertaining to registering a socio-civic foundation,” Lagman said.
“In due time, I will be able to serve better the wonderful people of Albay via a foundation that will address their myriad needs for a better shot at life and at living well,” he said.
Lagman noted that the “collective goal” of human beings should always be attaining “better lives for all.”
“And one of the more effective avenues to achieve this lofty goal is for government and the private sector to collaborate on worthwhile advocacies through fully-functional socio-civic foundations,” he said.
